Decoration Theme: Samudra Manthan
Decoration Description: The decoration is about mythological story 'Samudra Manthan'(The Churning of the Ocean of Milk). The objective behind it to entertain and educate ganesh bhakt by explaining story through ecofriendly decoration. The idols of God and Demon in decoration are homemade using clay. These idols were fixed on a platform of plywood which moves to and fro with the help of electric motor which actually gives a feel of Samudramanthan. The rope-biggest serpent 'Vasuki' and the churning rod-'Mandara' mountain were made by tissue papers and metal string for support. Lord Vishnu took his Kurma avatar and taking the shape of tortoise to support the Mandar mountain by resting on its back-this tortoise is made by using Mount board.The 14 Ratna which came out of the ocean were shown either by printouts or 3D items.
