All Participants eCertificates will be sent in Email within 24 hours and will also be visible in their account and on their Ganpati Page.

Winners are selected purely on basis of decisions of our Judges. They only consider details which were sent by each participants. They DO NOT at all consider Likes/Shares/Public Votes, etc. We strongly believe that decisions made on Likes/Shares is completely inappropriate. This is where we maintain our quality. Decisions of our Judges for winners below are based on various criterias and are Final which cannot be changed.

Description: The purpose of our Ganpati was to show how we can minimize resources to achieve the same goal. Hence, we did not think to elaborate it by decoration. Moreover, we are a group of students who somehow managed to come together to make this possible. Our only aim was to bring this novelty and the unique method to build this out to the people, and not for any religious purpose.
The Ganesh Idol we have made (Attachment below), is made out of paper. But, instead of using several sheets of paper to make a paper-mache idol. Our Idol uses only 78 A4 sheets of paper and measures 1.2m in height. This was possible, using a unique method of utilizing the sheets only at the surface, meaning the entire idol is hollow inside. The design was first modeled on software, and 2D templates were created that on sticking with glue, hold the idol together. Effectively, the weight of this 1.2m tall model is less than 800gms! This is nearly 1/100th by weight of a conventional idol and roughly less than 1/10th of a paper model in terms of resources used.
